Pimpslap The Atmosphere - Lakeland FL
Bill and I have been friends since '84 or so, I saw Pimpslap when they came to Buffalo in the 90's.

Holy Crap! I played a show at Spikes Doghouse In Jacksonville Florida after they played in 1993 no wait might have been 94.Somewhere in that time frame.It might have been late 93.Anyway,our Singer's GF was hammered and I bought her the CD.She wasn't impressed by the music but by the singer doing the Jesus Christ Pose throughout the show.
LOL @ Jesus Christ Pose. I interviewed this band when I was at University of South Florida. He did do a bunch of overly Shakespearean stage moves, but it was all part of the fun. They put on a hell of a loud show!
i had a friend who watched pimpslap perform in florida,he was given a cd,when my friend returned to S.C,he was like check this shit out,i did ,and it was awesome..i burned a few copies of th self-titled cd to bshare w/ frndz,now i dont have it,and my frndz scratched theirs to hell,or lost it,,,plz tell me how i can get that self-titled cd.....
someone help me find this cd,i will buy it,this music is unheard of,wish i still had my copy...if u can help a brother n need of some good music,i love it when people say ..."who is that,that is bad-ass"...if u can help me out....hit me up @ blitz42069@yahoo.com
I used to go watch these guys all the time at Pipers in New Smyrna Beach, FL, they were cool. I used to drive my roommates crazy by playing their tape to death. Some of my favorite PSTA moments:
-They show up to promote the Pist Midget Compilation, they had two actual midgets running around, one of them with the words "I.M. Pist" written on his chest in DayGlo orange paint...followed by sampling some of the mushroom tea that the boys brought with them.
-one time we were hanging at my friend Clipper's house watching football, Tampa bay was on, and anytime they messed up, Bill (Angst) would simply go "Oh, man...wow...damn", which I assume he would use his disappointment in his team to fuel his stage energy.
-one time after they played, someone i used to know had a camera and taped this guy saying "I been to three state fairs and two goatfucking contests, but I ain't never seen anything like that." when referring to the band.
i also have a copy of the Alien Tongue project that Bill did.
