After a lengthy lay-off, art-rockers COWBOYS OF SCOTLAND are back at it, with new songs, a new line-up, a new venue, and the same bad attitude! Their sound has been described as avant-garde, progressive, funky, punk, and rock-n-roll… Veteran COWBOYS, Bud Redding (keys + vocals) and Steven J. Myers (guitar + vocals) welcome new drummer Ron Leisten (Bad Ronald) and bass player Paul Hojnowski (DJ Oldskool) to the band, as well as multi-instrumentalist Robert Raithel. The band will play live on Friday, April 1st at Club Diablo. Redding and Hojnowski already host a monthly DJ event at Diablo, but this will be the first time that the band will play this venue. "We are playing five new songs, plus all of our fans’ old favorites. We’ll probably throw in a couple cool covers, as we usually do," said Myers. "We are very excited to be playing at Club Diablo, and will also be back in June for a very special show. Stay tuned!" One twist this night will be all four band members, as well as special guest (and the band’s graphic designer) Mark Wisz will all be spinning DJ sets; before and after the live show, so be ready to dance, rock, and dance some more! Produced by Batcave Presents and Hard Management.
