Being an ice cream lover And a local music supporter I noticed this local music CD for sale at Anderson's and decided to buy a copy to feature on my blog.
The Doyle Bros. are excellent singers and musicians, this cover CD contains some great old classics, slightly reworked with fairly hip new arrangements and sung in a slightly "emo"/John Mayer type style which should please the young and old alike, particularly those of the female persuasion.
My fave track is #7, "Summertime (Doin Time)" which is a cover of a "Sublime" song.
All the songs groove along nicely and are pleasant to listen to.
The Doyle Brothers are selling their CD and playing at select Anderson's this summer, I believe all the proceeds from the CD sales goto charity.
