This music blog proudly supports local businesses' that have been kind enough to support my music blog and donate prizes to past musical events I have promoted.
Queen City Bookstore was kind enough, once again, to donate some KISS comics to giveaway @ the KISS THIS! 10/25/13 Halloween show @ Rock 'n' Roll Heaven.

In 1977 Marvel Comics published a full-color KISS comic book, titled, A Marvel Comics Super Special!: Kiss presenting the band Kiss as superheroes. Blood from each band member was drawn by a registered nurse and poured into the vats of red ink used for printing the comic at Marvel's plant in Depew, New York.
KISS appeared in the very next issue H.T.D. #13.
This is the one that started it all way back in 1977. KISS first appeared in comic book form in Howard The Duck #12.

Stay Positive
"They suck so NO thanks!"
...that negative comment appeared in the decline section for a recent FB music event page, that comment and the mentality that produces those kinds of comments is one of the main reasons why I proudly created this local music blog.
I will continue to support the local music scene and cast the WNY music scene in a positive light.
I have encountered that kind of negative mentality in my own musical past and that is why I will continue to promote the local music scene on my music blog.
I'm currently accepting local music CD's to review and promote on this blog, contact me @ jtellfotos@yahoo.com if you or your band is interested in submitting a CD or 2, thank you.
