Gillian Carter to Headline Day 2 of Collective Effort Fest 2025 in Brooklyn, NY
BROOKLYN, NY – The Meadows will once again become the epicenter of heavy music this fall as Collective Effort Fest returns for its 2025 edition, bringing two days of boundary-pushing hardcore, screamo, post-metal, and more to 17 Meadow Street in Brooklyn on October 11th and 12th. The fest proudly announces Gillian Carter as the headliner for Day 2 (Sunday, October 12th).
Formed in 2005, Gillian Carter has become a staple of the modern screamo scene, known for their emotionally devastating live performances and a discography that seamlessly fuses elements of post-rock, hardcore, and ambient noise. Their headlining slot marks a significant moment in the band’s two-decade-long journey, bringing their dynamic, heart-wrenching sound to one of Brooklyn’s most vital DIY spaces.
Day 2 will also feature standout sets from Hundreds of AU, Dreamwell, Youth Novel, Burial Dance, Pyre, toldnotToWorry, [auxiena saint], Ennui, and Vessott — making it an essential night for fans of underground and emotive heavy music.
The fest kicks off a day earlier on Saturday, October 11th, with Thou, Zao, Cloud Rat, So Hideous, and others anchoring a lineup that spans metal, screamo, and experimental hardcore.
Tickets are available now via DICE — $30 advance / $40 day-of per day, or $50 for a limited 2-day pass. Doors open at 2PM each day, and the event is 16+ with ID.
